Avel year Douar first album

Initiated in 2006 on an idea of the festival Africolor, Serendou is the meeting of two cultures. Avel Douar year is a generous album brought by three accomplices and additional musicians. After several years of concerts, residencies and travel in France and Niger, Jean-Luc Thomas and Yacouba Moumouni decide to record at the cultural center in Niger-French Niger Zinder in the east of the capital Niamey.

It is the testimony of an adventure
human and artistic achievement, a dialogue of three persons entrenched in their respective cultures, curious of otherness and difference.

The rich melodic and rhythmic music of flutes and gourd is expanding even more and the conversation takes another dimension with the arrival of kamele n'goni traditional stringed instrument, and singing...
