You are invited to Docubox Open Day.

On Sunday 27th July we shall be celebrating documentary film making by inviting you to meet our 12 of the talented filmmakers DOCUBOX selected from over 100 applicants and have supported with mentoring and grants over the past year. We invite you to come watch their completed 12 film teasers, six of which are about to be awarded a further $20,000 each! It's almost impossible to guess who the winners will be as each and every films is so deserving, but we invite you to come and try!



As part of the celebration, we shall also be screening two internationally acclaimed documentary films, from our series of free public screenings held monthly in the Shalom House Gardens, Miners Shot Down (by Rehad Desai) at 12pm and I, Afrikaner (By Annalet Steenkamp) will show at 2.30pm. Both of these South African films are currently on the global festival circuit and have already won many, many accolades - come see them and discover why!
