1606  Jamin band
In 2011, the band started with two band members only. They played the jammin' style of music with only guitar and a bongo. The number of band members grew to six and the number of instruments grew accordingly. By 2012, they had made their first public appearance. The band's musical influences are a mix of the flavor of reggae and our traditional rhythms.
The name of the band is inspired by the year 1606, when experienced seaman and navigator, Pedro Fernandez De Queiros, discovered and made his declaration on the island of Santo.
