A man and a woman, whose names we will never know, meet when they never should have. He is an immigrant working in the vines; she is from a wealthier background. She is on the run, after having done irreparable damage. She meets the man and, for a short period, she feels outside of a world that she can still hear. Maybe the taste of simple things is enough to give her some peace. But this won't happen without them being drawn to each other intimately. The rest is suggested and belongs to the characters. We don't know if the turmoil they are left in at the end of the film will stand the test of time.
