Moroccan actor and filmmaker.

Omar LOTFI (عمر لطفي) is an actor, screenwriter and film director.

Omar Lotfi is originally from Derb Sultan (district of Casablanca), Morocco. He draws his inspiration from his Amazigh roots and his multicultural experience. Trained at the Conservatoire du boulevard de Paris in Casablanca, he begins on stage and acting, before moving towards directing. His first feature film, "L'Batal" (2024), illustrates his social sensitivity and his attachment to Moroccan identity. Committed artist, he establishes himself as a rising voice of national cinema.

Omar Lotfi was born in 1983 in Casablanca. He studied dramatic art at the Casablanca Conservatory. He began his career in the theatrical and associative circles of Casablanca.
Casanegra (2007) is his first cinematic experience (as an actor). He also starred in the feature Do you remember Adil? (2008, by Mohamed Zinnedaine).

عمر لطفي

عمر لطفي، ابن حي درب السلطان بمدينة الدار البيضاء، يستلهم أعماله من جذوره الأمازيغية وتجربته الحياتية المتعددة الثقافات. تلقى تكوينه الفني في المعهد الموسيقي بشارع باريس بالدار البيضاء، وبدأ مسيرته فوق خشبة المسرح قبل أن يتوجه إلى الإخراج السينمائي. فيلمه الطويل الأول "البطل" يجسد حسه الاجتماعي العميق وارتباطه القوي بالهوية المغربية. فنان ملتزم، يفرض نفسه كأحد الأصوات الصاعدة في السينما الوطنية
