Jesse Mossis the founder of Mile End Films (www.mileendfilms.com), a New York-based production company. His award-winning documentaries include Full Battle Rattle, about the U.S.
Army's Iraq war simulation in California's Mojave Desert. The film premiered at the 2008 Berlin International Film Festival, won the Special Jury Prize at the SXSW Film Festival, and opened theatrically
at New York's Film Forum. It is currently screening at festivals around the world. His other films include Speedo: A Demolition Derby Love Story (PBS/POV), and Con Man (HBO/Cinemax).
Before establishing his own production company, Moss worked as a producer for Academy Award-winner Barbara Kopple and as a speechwriter on Capitol Hill. In 2003, Filmmaker Magazine named him one of 25 New Faces of Independent Film.
