Dear All,
Please find Hereby an information addressed to all dance friends and specially the elders (my generation, 50 years old and more).
You are invited to discover the Senegalese culture in the village of Toubab Dialaw through movement, music, percussions, kora and riti rhythms, the sound of tales and poems and the breath of the Atlantic Ocean.
Toubab Dialaw is a small fishing village located on the Petite Côte coastal area about 55 km South of Dakar. The École des Sables, a village dedicated to dancing, is located on the heights of the village and faces the ocean, laguna and savanna. Founded by Germaine Acogny, the Ecole des Sables is a place for training, exchange and meeting for dancers from Africa and all over the world.
Various activities are proposed, all related to conviviality and pleasure of dancing together with Germaine Acogny and Claude Magne. Find more about our offer in the attached file!
Come and spend two weeks under the rhythm of the École des Sables surrounded by music and dances, nature and calm or offer this stay as a special present to your parents or friends!
Companions and spouses are also invited to join and participate in this event, for dancing, tales, poesy and music as they wish.
Find more about the content and conditions of this journey in the attachment.
We'll be very happy to meet you and to share our passion with you.
See you soon!
