Juan Pablo González was born in Mexico in 1984. He has directed several short films including Porqué el recuerdo (2014), screened at the Cannes Critics' Week, La espera (2016), presented at South by Southwest and Jury Prize for Best Short Film at the New Orleans Film Festival, and Las nubes (2017).
