The Fête de la Musique is an international event promoting local musicians all over the world. Conceptualized in France in 1982, it has spread in many countries and has become a major gathering for Musicians both professionals and amateurs.

In the Pacific, Fête de la Musique is organized in Vanuatu and Fiji.
