The first edition of "One Country One Film" International Film Festival is run by "Un Monde Meilleur" organisation. It will take place in the village of Apchat, France, from July 30th to August 1st 2010.

The main goal of the festival is cultural exchange between countries. Diversity regarding the origin of films is the number one criteria for selection. No more than one film is selected per country represented. The films selected will thus represent their countries at the festival.

However each year a country is honored and a program made of several films originating from that country is screened.

The honored country for 2010 is France but we are of course also looking for films produced in other countries for the main programs.

Every year the audience prize is awarded.

One Country One Film Festival is designed so that the audience is carried away to a trip around the world. A trip that will show earth's diversity. Each festival edition will present the voices of artistic creation and cultural expression of numerous countries throughout a showcase of diverse cinematographic styles and themes among the selected films.

The festival is under the patronage of Christophe Vacher who was recently the art director for "9" produced by Tim Burton and directed by Shane Acker

Artistic director: Vincent Chabrillat
