Rwandan traditional evenings celebrate our culture. During "Igitaramo", we sing, dance, recite poems, share proverbs and enjoy time with family and friends. Historically, the Igitaramo was also one of the King's best moment with his people and used to celebrate Urwagasabo's. Traditional evenings are gathering of community and often signal the celebration of wedding, new born, naming ceremonies and holidays such as the New Year. The events also include traditional food and banana or sorghum beer.
