One of the performers of the night, Phoebe Elizabeth Fullbrook's Biograph.
Phoebe was born and brought up in a musical family in London, England. She studied violin performance at university under the direction of Gina McCormack, at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. Whilst at Trinity Laban, she was a finalist in the Vivian Joseph Classical Concert Competition. Phoebe graduated in 2011 with a first class honours degree.
Before coming to teach violin in Kampala in September 2013, Phoebe was a freelance musician and teacher in London. She was a member of Orion Symphony Orchestra, Locrian Ensemble of London, Deviation Strings, and she also performed regularly with her ensemble The Fullbrook String Trio. Phoebe has recorded for rock metal band 'Down I Go' on both their albums, for BBC Radio 1's DJ Benji B, and also for BBC Radio 3 - with Julian Bliss and Trinity String Ensemble. The highlight of Phoebe's performance career, to date, was collaborating with 1970's rock band 'Sparks' for their concert in London, 2008.
