As a writer and director of documentary films since 1971, I have made some 30 documentaries of all lengths for both television and the cinema. As an independent filmmaker, in 1998 I founded my own film production company, Films en Quête, in order to be able to pursue my work more freely.
Firmly rooted in both the present and the deeper currents that constitute it, most of my films address essential issues in the fields of art, education, the dangerous connections between politics and religion, and the vital bonds between literature and life…
