Luxembourgish and Egyptian filmmaker.

Co-Founder/CEO: Independent Spirit Productions S.A. (Luxembourg).
He learns Filmmaking à Kingston University Promotion 2007 · MA Filmmaking). He speaks Egyptian Arabic, French, Deutsch, Luxembourgish and English. He is living in Luxembourg.

I was born in Alexandria, Egypt to Egyptian parents. Before settling down at the age of 6 to Luxembourg, I have lived in the UAE, UK and France.

After graduating with a MA in Filmmaking from Kingston University in the United Kingdom, my first feature film as a producer DIVIZIONZ had its world premiere at the 2008 Berlin Film Festival. The film went on to be selected at over 100 film festivals winning numerous prizes.

In 2011, I have written & directed the short films LA FAMEUSE ROUTE... (The Notorious Road...) and MANO DE DIOS (God's Hand). Both films have also had a solid festival run.

Since 2004, I have produced, directed and/or edited a dozen short films, 3 feature films as well as hundreds of TV reports and music videos (link to my showreel).

I speak 5 languages (English, French, German, Arabic & Luxembourgish) fluently. That's why my film's themes always include issues of identity, integration, travelling, languages as well as immigration.

I'm also a 2006 Berlinale Talentcampus as well as an EAVE (European Audiovisual Entrepreneur) alumni and I have completed my first feature film LES GARS (The Notorious Guys) in 2013. The film features Orelsan in his first cinema role.

SAWAH (2019) is his second feature film.

At the moment, Adolf is in development of his third feature film HOOPED.
