She is best known as Miss Morgan, the non-nonsense deputy principal of Tahidi High on the Citizen TV series by the same name.
Angela accidentally stumbled into acting. After seeing a poster inviting people for auditions for a beer commercial at Alliance Française, she auditioned and landed the gig. That was back in 2001 when she was only 18. The hefty pay she received and thrill of seeing herself on billboards nudged her into the industry.
Before her big break on Tahidi High, Angela had a minor role on the stage play Gone up in Smoke and show Stigma in 2006.
Tahidi High gave Angela huge mileage in the industry and landed her deals from commercials to hosting. She was notably the face of Faulu Kenya TV adverts and a one-time Naivas Supermarkets' brand ambassador.
She played Chloe on the 2010 Danish film Lost in Africa under a Hollywood director. She has also been in Nollywood and Ghanaian films.
Angela staged "Ngoma cia aka" which translates to "The evils of women" at the Kenya National Theatre in March 2013 through her company GrassHut Productions.
The actress lists watching movies, travelling, camping and swimming as her hobbies.
