Erige SEHIRI is a Film Director, Screenwriter, Production Designer and Producer.

She is known for "Railway Men (La Voix Normale)" (2018, Director / Screenwriter), "Under the Fig Trees / Sous les figues" (Director / Screenwriter / Production Designer / Producer).

From Tunisian origin, Erige SEHIRI was born in France in 1982. She directed many shorts documentaries and she working from Jerusalema as independent Journalist for French TV channels.
Erige Sehiri is a film-director and producer. In 2012, she directed a documentary "The Facebook of my father" and took part in the collective project "Family Albums" that won the "coup de coeur "prize at CINEMED 2012. In 2013, she co-founded the Tunisian media Inkyfada and produced several documentaries for television. Her feature documentary film "The Normal Way" was selected at Visions du Réel 2018 (Nyon, section: Burning Lights).

Erige Sehiri is a French-Tunisian director and producer. With her own production company, Henia, she develops Tunisian author driven documentaries distinguished at Visions du Réel, IDFA, Cinémed... In 2018, her breakout feature documentary, Railway Men, remained six weeks in Tunisian theaters. In 2021, she wrote, directed and produced her first fiction feature, Under the Fig Trees (2022), which won several post-production awards at the Venice International Film Festival - Final Cut in Venice and World Premiered at 2022 Cannes Film Fest (The Directors' Fortnight - La Quinzaine des réalisateurs).

Erige Sehiri is a French-Tunisian director, producer, and former journalist whose work bridges documentary realism and narrative cinema. Sehiri began her film career in documentary, directing the acclaimed "Railway Men" (2018), which captured the daily struggles of Tunisian railway workers. In 2022, she wrote, directed, and produced her first feature, "Under the Fig Trees", an intimate portrait of youth, labor, and fleeting moments of connection set in a rural fig orchard. The film premiered at the 54th Directors' Fortnight at the Cannes Film Festival and was selected to represent Tunisia at the 2023 Academy Awards. It has since screened at major international festivals and been released theatrically in over twenty countries.
Beyond her work in film, Sehiri is an active advocate for freedom of expression and media literacy. She is the co-founder of the media INKYFADA and the Tunisian NGO Al KHATT. She is also a founding member of the Rawiyat-Sisters in Film collective, which supports women filmmakers across the Arab world and diaspora.
"Promised Sky" (2025), her second feature film, premiered at Cannes Film Festival Official selection Un Certain Regard.

أريج سهيري هي مخرجة ومنتجة. سنة 2012، قامت بإخراج فيلم وثائقي "فاسيبوك أبي" وشاركت في المشروع الجماعي "ألبوم الأسرة"، المتحصّل على جائزة "كو دو كور" في "سينيمد" 2012. في عام 2013، شاركت في تأسيس وسيلة الإعلام التونسية "إنكيفادا" كما أنتجت العديد من الأفلام الوثائقية لالتلفزيون. سيصدر فيلمها "لا فوا نورمال"سنة 2018

أريج السحيري مخرجة ومنتجة فرنسية تونسية مقيمة في تونس، تركز أفلامها على العمال ذوي المصير المجهول. في عام 2018، أخرجت فيلما وثائقيا بعنوان عالسكة مع عمال السكك الحديدية التونسيين، يصور كفاحهم اليومي ضد إخفاقات السكك الحديدية الوطنية (Visions du Réel ،IDFA، إشادة لجنة التحكيم في CINEMED، جائزة الجمهور في مهرجان Filmer le Travail في بواتيي). أريج هي أيضا منتجة من خلال شركتها Henia Production، التي تطور أفلاما وثائقية إبداعية وتدعم بشكل خاص مشاريع المخرجين الشباب. شاركت في تأسيس مجموعة راويات (Rawiyat-Sisters in film)، وهي مجموعة من المخرجات السينمائيات من العالم العربي
