Moroccan filmmaker.

Hicham AMAL is a screenwriter, film director and producer.

He started his career, in 2006, as a screenwriter on national TV networks.
He wrote many teleplays produced by Nabil Ayouch such LAAB AL BAROUD (directed By Mohamed Nesrat) and YAMNA (directed by Abdellah El Yazani). He participated in the writing of two series (THE TEAM, COOL CENTER). He produced and directed his first feature film LA MÉLODIE DE LA MORPHINE - THE MORPHINE MELODY (2013). The movie was selected in the official competition at Dubai International Film Festival, and won two prices (Best editing & Best First Feature) at the National Film Festival in Tangiers, 2016.
