Nuno Miranda is a Cape Verdean filmmaker based in Lisbon whose films explore questions of identity through a poetic and narrative style. His first film, the documentary Kmêdeus, premiered at the Rotterdam International Film Festival, as did his short The Last Harvest. He is currently developing his first feature-length fiction film, The Flowers of the Dead, continuing his commitment to a unique visual and narrative aesthetic for Cape Verdean cinema.
