For more than three decades, Randy Crawford has traversed a musical spectrum that ranges from jazz and soul, to R&B and pop. Her warm timbre and inventive, emotional phrasing has won Crawford countless fans around the globe.

Born in Macon, Georgia, Randy Crawford was raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, where she discovered her exceptional talent singing in her church choir.

Crawford first polished her craft at club gigs from Cincinnati to Saint-Tropez, but made her name in mid 1970s in New York, where she sang with jazzmen George Benson and Cannonball Adderley. Along the way she has rubbed elbows with Bootsy Collins, Johnny Bristol, Quincy Jones, Al Jarreau and others.
