There is a festival competition and the festival accepts entries from films produced in the last two years. Screenings take place throughout Durban including township areas where cinemas are non-existent.
The festival also offers an extensive seminar and workshop programme featuring local and international filmmakers, and the very successful Talent Campus Durban.
