Innovation Village is a partnership between Village Group and the Government of Rwanda to promote literacy and culture and inspire innovation.
 
Innovation Village is founded on the idea that access to information expands the way people and communities think. This, we believe, is the foundation of innovation.
 
We inspire and connect storytellers, innovators and educators with tools for learning, growth and innovation through on-site programs and our interactive online platform.

Our Space
The space at the rooftop of the Kigali Public Library is 855 square meters, it is made up of 3 main sections:

Events
The events space is multifunction: it has a stage for performances, a screening area, as well as an exhibition space.
The space can hold between 60-100 people at a time.

Kids' Corner
A separate space specially designated for kids for storytelling session, classes, games and workshops.

Media Lab
Our multi-purpose media lab provides our users with an access to audio and video equipment as well as computers and tablets.
