EFCA (The Egyptian Film Critics Association) is member of the FIPRESCI, (the international federation of film critics).

Since 2014, the EFCA is organazing the Cairo International Film Critics Week (CIFCW), an independent program, in parallel with, and the support of the Cairo International Film Festival (CIFF).
