The 8th edition of the El Gouna Film Festival will take place from October 16 to 24, 2025, in El Gouna, Egypt.
The previous edition featured over 80 films from 40 countries and selected 21 projects in development or post-production from more than 230 submissions. It also included around 30 industry-related events, such as panels, masterclasses, workshops, and discussions on the film industry. These activities were centralized at the Festival Plaza, a space dedicated to professional exchange. The 2025 edition will continue in this direction, offering a curated film selection along with meetings and training opportunities for film professionals.
