Mwimba Texas - wrestling and albinism in the D.R.Congo, is a documentary about the career of wrestler albino Mwimba Texas, chairman of the Foundation eponym for people living with albinism in Democratic Republic of the Congo. Wrestling is the typical sports of this country. Often called "witch doctors" opponents will cast spells and involve magic and juju to win. Initiator of a new catch, a catch "classic without fetishes" in which reign only the strength and technique and where magic has it's place no more, Mwimba Texas revolutionized the sport, while opening it to the most disadvantaged. His talents as a wrestler contributed significantly to change the perception of albino people in the DRC, often seen on the African continent as weak and linked to witchcraft. After many victories in the ring, he decided in 1998 to make profit of his notoriety by creating the FMT, the Texas Foundation for Mwimba albino and vulnerable. This foundation since it's creation never ceases to gather albinos and disadvantaged during regular events offering donations and distributions of products helping these individuals to protect themselves from the sun. The skin cancer is unfortunately common for albinos people, especially on the African continent.
