The natural beauty of our environment offers magical precepts from which the human race draws its inspiration, hope and source of life. Dassa, a Beninese city in the heart of 41 hills, to whoever visits, is a majestic image of ‘‘OKUTO'', or stone. The sensibility of the artist using stone as a raw material provides us a new perspective, magnifying the work of nature. Culturally attached to the hills of the region, the Idassha people maintain a strong and scared tie to the stone through myth and legend.
