The story: A golden object mystifies a young man living in a traditional Solomon Islands village. He (Wane) dreams of going to the city and wakes up in a nightmare that changes his life forever.
Wea Nao Mi was the outcome of Wantok Stori film making exchange created for the Festival of the Pacific Arts 2012. This film has since been exhibited in Australia and the small proceeds have been donated to this event with the aim of continuing to support the development of film making in Solomon Islands.
