The Port Moresby Choral Society has been a community choir for nearly 100 years and is one of the oldest community groups here. These days we're more of a "chamber choir" and we welcome all who have a desire to sing!
The Port Moresby Choral Society was founded in 1913. Since then, we have weekly choral sessions to sing together, and we host regular events such as 'An Evening of Christmas Music with Handel's "Hallelujah Chorus"', Major Piece: Pergolesi's "Magnificat", Presenting Pergolesi's "Magnificat" and Elgar's "Motets", as well as Christmas carols performed every year.
We're located at the music room, The Ela Murray International School, Boroko Drive!
Come along, and have a sing!
