INTERNATIONALLY-VENERATED Nigerian singer Damini Ogulu, affectionately known as Burna Boy, is billed to share the stage with Tehn Diamond, Simba Tags, MC Chita and Nadia at the official opening of the new state-of-the-art Borrowdale night club, Pablo'z Club and VIP.

The event, which has been organised by Eventworx, will also feature South Africa's Crazy White Boy duo that will perform on Friday along with other supporting acts.

Eventworx spokesperson Lyndon Kapuya yesterday confirmed that the artistes were coming and promised a blissful event.

"We are currently in the final stages of renovations to our flagship establishment Pablo'z Club and VIP.

"To launch this new and exciting venture, we are bringing in artistes from South Africa and Nigeria - Crazy White Boy from South Africa and the very much hyped Burna Boy from Nigeria," Kapuya said.

Kapuya said the artistes selected would help in hallmarking the high standard that the joint was set to bring and maintain as an entertainment hub.

"We think their profile and quality of delivery is in keeping with the high standards we aim to set and maintain," he said.

Award-winning rapper Tehn Diamond, who is arguably the man of the moment in local hip-hop circles, said fans should brace for a blockbuster as he will perform some of the songs on his upcoming album titled The Perfect Tehn.

"I am hoping to surprise fans with a few new tracks from my upcoming album and apart from that, the plan is to put on our usual show of high energy and passion," he said.

He hinted the possibility of collaborating with Burna Boy.

Burna Boy's versatility and unique sound which blends dancehall, Afrobeat, R&B and hip-hop has made him an artiste to reckon with serenading fans across borders, while the Crazy White Boy duo have achieved great things internationally with their prowess on the deck.
