Do you love live music?
Are you aware of the latest festival lineups and news?
Do you share your festival pictures on social media so all your friends know that you were at a festival?
Do you plan the perfect fest outfit to rock at a festival?
Do you love writing?
Are you outgoing and sociable?
If you said 'yes' to the questions, we'd love to have  you on board a Fest Reporter for our upcoming  Fest Guru website.  As a Fest Reporter, you'll be our eyes and ears on the ground and will cover festivals in your area. You'll be tasked with taking pictures and writing a review of the festivals you attend. These reviews will be submitted to our editors and if approved, will be posted on our tumblr. The best pieces will be published on our website when launched.

We're looking for articles on attendees festival style, interviews with attendees or your personal thoughts on the festival. Personal pieces must generally be positive or have constructive feedback for festival organizers. All pieces must be accompanied by images which must be credited either to the Festival Reporter or another source.

Interested? Email thefestgurus@gmail.com with your name, country you are based in, festivals you would like to cover (including date it will be held), twitter handle and blog link if possible. We'd also like to know the best festival/concert you've ever attended in a short write-up (2 paragraphs max).

What's in It For You?  The Fest Gurus will not compensate fest reporters in monetary terms, although those who post consistently may have a chance to receive press passes to attend festivals and Fest Gurus branded tshirts. Please note that Fest Reporters who receive press passes will be seen as Fest Guru Ambassadors and will be expected to display appropriate behavior at a festival being covered. Posts submitted must not have been published elsewhere, including The Fest Reporters personal blogs until after they are posted on The Fest Gurus site. The long term goal is for Fest Reporters to host short video segments which would be included in future episodes of The Fest Gurus show.
