For more than 50 years, the music of the kingdom of Buganda has been forgotten and faded from memory. Through the intimate portrait of the last royal musicians, BUGANDA ROYAL MUSIC REVIVAL launches us on a journey to discover the sounds and the stories which make this music making once the glory of a kingdom. Exploring an oral tradition dating back more than 700 years and its agony, the film asks a universal question: what trace do we leave?
