Motherless Fatima has been disabled since childhood. She lives with her father and mother-inlaw in a very modest neighbourhood. Her mother died in her eyes of a heart attack following a dispute with her co-wife, Aunt Bintou. Since that day, Fatima still cannot forget this image and wants to avenge.
