In Ohio, two young African-Americans, meeting for the first time, are arrested for a minor traffic violation following a love affair. The situation degenerates, as suddenly as tragically banal, when the young man shoots in self-defence the white policeman who arrested them.
On the road, these two unwilling fugitives will learn to discover each other in such extreme and desperate circumstances that a sincere and powerful love will be born that will reveal the heart of the humanity they share and that will change the rest of their lives.
