Andre Williams was born on the island of Montserrat on the 9th of November 1954.   His father was a Barbadian of Welsh descent and his mother a Lebanese immigrant to Montserrat at age eight.   The family relocated to Barbados in 1955.

The first comment in Andre's 'Baby Book' said, "he loves water" and this has proven true over and over again; participation in swimming, fishing, sailing, scuba diving, windsurfing and a degree in Marine Biology are evidence of Andre's love of the ocean.

From his teenage years Andre enjoyed snapping with a Kodak point and shoot film camera.   Encouraged by family and friends and a growing passion for photography Andre enrolled in several photo classes .   Armed with this knowledge and a Nikon digital camera he has been capturing the beauty of God's creation for himself and for all of us to enjoy.

Andre says "My photography skills are a gift from God; I ask for and enjoy His participation in everything I do, including photography".
