Gabrielle…physical beauty under-girded by beauty of character. Competitive, yet with a deep sense of fair play. Her quiet confidence and most congenial personality often finds her quite animated in the presence of good friends and company. A wry sense of humour.

Gabrielle has always been a diligent worker as can be attested to by old schoolmates and family members alike. This has translated to a solid work ethic. She does not back away from challenges to which she has made a commitment. Excellence has always been the hallmark of all her endeavors. Her strong family and Christian values have without a doubt helped to mold the beautiful yet no-nonsense personality, her friends and acquaintances already know.

Gabrielle is a true Jamaican ambassador. She holds a Bachelor's degree with First Class Honours in Media and Communication from The University of the West Indies, Mona and was also Jamaica's 2009 Commonwealth Scholar to New Zealand, where she completed a Post Graduate Diploma and Masters (with First Class Honours) at the University of Auckland in Screen Production. She has since produced, written and directed two short films both in Jamaica and New Zealand, one of which won a prestigious award in New Zealand - the Geoff Evans Memorial Award for Excellence in Screen Production. She has also produced and directed a local documentary. The film industry and the world at large is about to benefit from the technical skills of this fine Jamaican lady now ready to bloom.

With a passion for promoting Jamaican culture and with the Miss Jamaica World platform, Gabrielle hopes with all her talents and attributes to inspire national pride and a greater sense of achievement in other young Jamaicans.
