Burundian journalist.
Pacific BUKURU is a journalist, born on 28/08/1989. I have been a cultural journalist at Jimbere Magazine since February 2018, also dealing with topics related to youth and women. In the cinematographic world, my adventure with the 7th art begins in 2012 and I benefited from some formations, among others: in writing of TV series, acting and staging, in documentary filmmaking, and recently in cinematic criticism.
Editor at Africiné Magazine (Dakar), after the workshop on film criticism organized by the French Institute of Burundi (IFB) and FESTICAB, under the direction of the Belgian-Congolese journalist Djia Mambu and Beninese cultural journalist Espéra Donouvossi, on the sidelines of the Festicab, in May-June 2019.
