Abdul 'Abdanger' Kinyenya is a versatile artist and social entrepreneur who began with dancing at the age of 12 with Ugandan traditional dance in schools and communities around Kampala. He is the Artistic Director of Tabu Flo Dance Company and a founding member and teacher at the Breakdance Project Uganda (BPU). Beginning in 2007, with a visit to Denmark for the Global Democracy Day, he has toured Europe, Africa, Asia and the US as a performing artist, choreographer, actor and dance teacher of Afro Hip Hop styles and breakdance.
Abdul holds a Bachelor's degree in International Business, and has developed his skills as a professional photographer since 2004, winning the Foreign Correspondents Association of Uganda Uganda Press Photo Awards for Daily Life Stories in 2012 and 2013. Abdul is also the owner of Bokisi, a flagship hip hop store in Kampala.
