Candice Ho Wong, born in Trinidad, received her first formal training in ballet, jazz and modern dance at the Thora Dumbell School of Dance and was no stranger to the stage dancing from the young age of four. From 1987 to 2003, she acquired the foundation of her skill and technique under well-known dancers, teachers and choreographers such as Debbie Mount, Rhonda Lou Samuel, Allan Balfour and Melanie Gilbert. This led her to perform in many major local broadway and Wayne Berkeley productions. Throughout this period, she also trained in tap dancing with Betsy Herrera and Traditional Chinese Dancing with Madam Chao.
