Ghael SAMB SALL is a film producer and editor.

She is known for SO BE IT (1997, Producer), KARMEN (2001, Producer).

Her father Ababacar SAMB Makharam was a film director and her mother Line BACCONNIER SAMB set up the Manufactures de Thiès, as technical director, under the leadership of Senghor.

She defines herself as "enterprising Senegalese woman, enamored of literature, cultural producer, curious about the arts, militant wife, attentive mother, happy with all the beautiful experiences and encounters" (interview with Akya Sy, Wakhart, 2012).

From the age of 20, she got involved in the entertainment world by co-producing major concerts (Kassav, Zouk Machine, Adjoa etc.) and by launching the concept of free outdoor concerts offered by municipalities.

Ten years later, she took film classes at NYU in New York. Then, she made her first experience in production with Joseph Gaï Ramaka.
In 1997, in association with this filmmaker, she established "Les Ateliers de L'Arche" (Dakar).
She produced Ramaka's film: "So be it" (1997, fiction, 33 min, Silver Lion - First prize of the Corto-cortissimo Section of the 54th Venice Film Festival & First Prize for short film at the Vues d Africa 1998. Broadcast: La Sept Arte).
She was then Executive producer on the film "Karmen Geï" by the same director. Then she launched with him, in the distribution and the exploitation, in 1998, with the opening of the Espace Bel'Arte, with the first Film Theater equipped with dolby digital in the Senegalese capital and intended to promote the Film Authorship (Cinéma d'auteur).

In 2009, Ghael Samb Sall created and directed Les Éditions Vives Voix (Dakar).
