CPWAA is a Tanzanian young Artist with a Dynamic Music Mentality.One of the earliest breeds of American Hip Hop influence on Tanzania's generation since then he has been a key Artist in blending and deforming the local music ( Bongoflava) with the foreign music elements.
The first Artist to introduce CRUNK music to East Africa music industry.

Born in 2nd march 1982,Tanzania.
CPWAA, real name Ilunga khalifa the only begotten child of an African queen Mother Sophia Ally.The name CPWAA originated from his high school nickname C.P which stands for CRITICAL PERSON.
Known by most as the King of BongoCrunk and Beat Box Master.He started his carrier when he was 14 (1996), joined the group called PARK LANE in 2003 and released their first album NAFASI NYINGINE. The group broke up in 2006, Cpwaa joined Bongo records and signed a 1 year record deal releasing one of the major Club banger hit "6 in the Morning".2007 he started working as a solo Artist with most of his work under a friend and personal Producer Lucci.This was the Crunk era with the hits such as PWAA part 1 which swept East African Medias.2008 a second crunk hit was released PWAA part 2.

2010 is a very promising year for this young and creative Artist as he is finalizing his first International and Local Hybrid music album titled "PWAA the album" packed with new coming singles such as "Soo Pwaaa" and XOXO.

Apart from being an Artist CPWAA is a qualified Network Engineer,Website developer and Linux system administrator working for a small and fast growing Telecoms company( PUSH MOBILE Ltd as a IT Manager)
