Jacqueline Namfua was born in Machame, Tanzania.
She left the country at an early age and has had the privilege of living and studying in three continents (Switzerland, England, Canada, Tanzania and the U.S.). She holds a BA Honours in Mass Communications from Carleton University and a MA in Broadcast Journalism from Syracuse University. She now lives and works in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania for UNICEF as a Communications Specialist.
Ms. Namfua's film production experience includes shooting, script writing and editing, which she has done with UNICEF both on Tanzania Mainland and Zanzibar.
