Jamon Kimball (born October 29, 1990) is a Samoan hip hop recording artist from San Diego, California. "Jamon" was originally known for being a third of rap trio Da Block. He started his rap career in November of 2011 when Da Block released their first mixtape entitled The Ride Home. Their mixtape was officially released on DatPiff.com and was immediately categorized in their top three mixtapes for the remainder of the 2011 year. Since the release of The Ride Home, Da Block has been traveling and performing with artists such as The Game, DJ Quik, YG, Big Sean, Cataracs, Kid Ink, Suga Free, Faith Evans, Mann, Mickey Avalon, Travis Porter, El Debarge, Warren G, and many more. Only weeks after the official mixtape release, their singles Tape Rock, Put Me In The Mood, and Alone were both played on several radio stations around the world and also featured in major hip hop blog websites. Da Block is set to release their sophomore mixtape at the end of 2012. JaMoN has recently turned down a couple of indie record deals.

JaMoN is currently sponsored by Body Art Bus, the only fully liscenced mobile tattoo studio in California and managed by Joey Chavez. They were featured in Inked Magazine and Sessions Magazine. JaMoN and Body Art Bus tour around together in the world famous Body Art Bus which was also used by Tech N9ne as a tour bus. JaMoN is currently working on his first solo mixtape with his producer AU. Early Life

Jamon Saletai Kimball was born on October 29, 1990 in Oceanside, California. When he was two years old his family moved to Hawaii where he was raised. His father was arrested in 1999 and now serves 25 to life in prison. In 2000 JaMoN moved back to California where he attented and graduated from El Camino High School in 2009. He wasn't introduced to hip hop until 2001. He credits Jay-Z's The Blueprint as his first time listening to rap music but didn't start writing until 2010.
