Joel Vicent Joseph who was born on 31st March 1985, better known as Mr  Joel Joseph, is a Tanzania musician, Talent manager & Entrepreneur. He is the founder of Puaz Music, Puaz Wear,  Puaz Foundation, Puaz Shop & host of a popular music podcast "African Music Show".

Joel gained interest in music in the year 2002 when he started as a music dancer. He later released his first song in the year 2004 'Sweet baby'. The song didn't gain much attention, He later went and release another song "Kila wakati" and "Usiku Wa Leo" featured Eddy G & Structure P. This track gained him fame and respect. It was recorded at Grandmaster records studio in Arusha.



He honed his pop music career at a young age. Growing up in a poor family and lack of enough education but managed to use his talents to earn money while at a young age, His talents were eventually fostered at Marangu Secondary School, in 2004,

In 2016, Joel started to Manage one of the Top Hip-Hop artist in Tanzania "SHETTA" who gain him more experience and introduce him in the music industry as among Top Tanzanian Talent Managers.

In 2018, he was signed to one of the biggest record label in Tanzania "WCB WASAFI" which is owned by African top Bongo Flava artist "Diamond Platnumz". He was appointed as Artist Manager to "Harmonize" who is the first signed artist under the label. He brought in a major success in the label and gain recognition as one of among the top talent managers in East Africa.

Entrepreneurship

In March, 2021, Joel launched his own brand such as "Puaz Shop" and "Puaz Music" where all his mechandise will come from it. He said to one of the media that Puaz Shop  will also feature speciality products that will be available through Africa, UK and EU.

"I have seen big brands such as Prada, Gucci, Covaych, Louis Vuitton and many more make an impact in the community and i though this could be great opportunity to introduce out tradition & culture in fashionable way" said Joel.
