Julian Kiprotich Odhiambo

Julian is performer, choreographer and director based in Nakuru. He started out his performance training with Tears Art and Peace Empowerment (Vocational College) under theatre and dance, class of 2008. He moved on and became a successful trainer of trainees in Magnet Theatre under USAID in 2009. He later on advance with The Theatre Company's (TTC) of Kenya Rift Valley based training programme in 2011. He moved ahead to the intermediate level still with the same company in 2012.
He has worked as a director, performer and head of the Theatre department in Tears group Kenya (2004-2010),performed in Magnet Theatre which is a non-conventional participatory community theatre (2004-2010) and performed at the international puppetry performance (2006). Julian is a participant of the first Performance Lab by The Theatre Company, has assisted in the development and touring with "Shungwaaya" within Kenya and at the Festival du Theatre Des Realities' in Mali and not forgetting he is part of the 'Kimbia' cast, a touring show with TTC. He is currently in the management committee for the Nakuru Players Theatre and is also The Theatre Company's regional representative for Nakuru County.
