Impossible Odds Records is at the forefront of Queensland Indigenous Music. In 2008 Fred Leone founded Impossible Odds Records with a focus of releasing Indigenous music artists of all genres from all over Australia.  The label has since reached out to artists outside of the Indigenous community developing important cross cultural relationships.


The label currently has 8 artists on its roster including Impossible Odds (Fred's own band), Classik Nawu, Georgia Corowa, BirdZ, Schoolfight, EMR with two new additions in 2013 Cold Water Band & Tigerlilly Lion joining the roster.



Impossible Odds Records is Queensland's only Indigenous owned and operated record label which is distributed nationally through MGM .



Multi Award Nominated & Q Song Award Winning Indigenous Hip Hop crew Impossible Odds widely known for their Triple J featured tracks Laugh It Off have made a steady rise on the Indigenous and Australian Hip Hop scenes over the past four years. Core of the group Fred Leone aka Rival MC is & by James Vincent aka DJ Returnagain joined by the newest member Kaylah "KaylahTruth" Tyson With live support from Tony McCall on Drums, Samuel Vincent on Bass, Callum "Caski" Robertson on MPD, Troy Allen, Jason Sandy & George Hopkins (Traditional Aboriginal Dancers) In 2007 Impossible Odds won the national JB SEED, SPEAK: INDIGENOUS Hip Hop Competition which saw them record their first EP. The EP later went onto to receive Single of The Week & Release of The Week in QLD music street press magazines Time Off ad Rave and saw Laugh It featured on Qantas International In-flight Radio & gain 5 Stars from ABC Indigenous Online.



Impossible Odds has performed alongside Jessica Mauboy, Archie Roach, Kev Carmody, Xavier Rudd, Wolf Mother & Public Enemy. Fred Leone has also collaborated and performed with Archie Roach and Xavier Rudd, Ethno In Transit & The Ethno Folk Club. Impossible Odds has performed at Inala Stylin Up Festival, Woodford Folk Festival, The Dreaming Island Vibe, ReggaeTown & Brisbane Festivals
