Uganda

Lucky Lora is a 29-year-old Uganda filmmaker that started her film career in 2008. She began with directing shirt films, some of which screened at the annual Amakula Kampala International Film Festival. She is a screenwriter, director and editor. She has been working as assistant director on the a famous TV series titled The Hostel, which has been running on NTV Uganda, NTV Kenya and on other African TV channels for some years now. She is currently directing a new TV drama series that will be coming out soon on a local TV station.
