Loulou Quinet, born in Ethiopia from a French Father and Ethiopian mother, she grew up in Paris, France and started her fashion design house, Aryam Designs in Kenya.
After finishing high school, she needed to choose a career. She went to fashion school for four years specializing in graphic design and fashion in ESMOD France, thereafter went to London to work for the renowned luxury fashion house Joseph for 2 years then moved to Kenya with her husband. She has always loved fashion and at the time they moved to Kenya, there weren't many people doing fashion design.

Aryam debuted her first Aryam line at a fundraising runway show in Paris 2010, catapulting her back into the world of fashion.
She opened the Aryam boutuique on Thigiri Ridge in 2011 to rave reviews, and her clientele and reputation for quality, originality amd great service has grown ever since.

Aryam crafts a disitnctive vision for contemporary African style. Her finely finished unique designsare inspired from a multicultural experience and global upbringing. the designs merge modern forms with traditional styles creating clothes that beautifully transcedent and blissfully comfortable.
