Mbugua had his first stage encounter in 2000 to date, ranging from skits, mimes, improvisations, full length plays as well a play backs. He started off screen acting in music videos then got casted in a tv series and recently participated in a pilot of a local production series. Other than acting, he has been a stage manager, first AD and director in a number of productions. He is a writer of articles and a poet.
