While attending Mt. St. Joseph Preparatory and Manchester High schools, Sabrina studied dance, piano and, for over ten years, was as a lead ensemble member and Junior Director of theatre company – Ayaedeh!, performing in over 50 plays and musicals and winning numerous awards for oratory and drama. After studying for a year at Jamaica's performance conservatory, Edna Manley College, Sabrina emigrated to the United States.

While pursuing her Bachelor of Arts in Theatre & French at prestigious Colgate University, she served as Artistic Director of Urban Theatre. Under her leadership, the company produced high quality, original plays, which greatly incorporated students of color's perspectives both into the classic- theatre scene and into parts of the curriculum.

These experiences spawned Sabrina's advancement as a director and writer. As her sense for the visual expanded, she began to develop and actively nurture a passion for cinema that rivaled her love for the theatre. She is currently pursuing her Master of Fine Arts in Media Arts Production at the City College of New York.

On a late November night she was was born in Mandeville, Jamaica (the island) - to Juliet, a Teacher and Norman, an Engineer. She was raised here with her sole sibling - Ramón.
