Young Burundian entrepreneur, Samantha INARUKUNDO is the initiator and Executive Director of TWOFIVESEVEN ARTS.

After obtaining a degree of Economics in International Business from the Universityof International Business and Economics -

UIBE in Beijing, China, Samantha returned to Burundi in 2014 to work in the hospitality industry. For three years, she rose through the ranks to hold important positions including but not limited to

marketing and sales management, and operations management while also serving on the board of directors of the hospitality

and tourism sectoral chamber as commissioner in charge of Awareness and Communication.

Being a great art lover, Samantha believed that art can be a catalyst for social cohesion. And it is with this conviction that she

decided to change careers and launch TwoFiveSeven Arts, with the mission to provide Burundian artists with the professional representation they deserve, while also providing significant support to their creative process.

Samantha is one of the leading figures in the arts and is part of a cultural actors group working on the constitution of a Consortium, bringing together different cultural organizations in order to strengthen their working capacity and to mutually enhance their performance. The Consortium brings together cultural organizations covering disciplines, such as: visual art, music, theater, media, literature, etc.

Moreover, Samantha was chosen to represent Burundi among the winners of WOMEN IN AFRICA of the year 2020. Each year, the WIA54 prize, an initiative of the Women In Africa Philanthropic Foundation, rewards 54 women entrepreneurs from each of the African countries with a strong potential to shape the Africa of tomorrow.
