Master Drummer Tuza is the lead drummer from his village of Nungua in Ghana. Tuza established The Salaka Ensemble - a traditional African drum & dance ensemble to preserve his musical heritage. Salaka plays the rhythms of the Ga tribe and is keeping the traditions of the community alive.
Tuza and many other members of Salaka have now settled in Australia and The Salaka Ensemble is sharing the rhythms of it's homeland with Australians at gigs, festivals, schools and special events. Their style of music is vibrant African drumming, breathtaking harmonies and high energy dancing.
